The 2017 IAHCSMM Annual Conference and Expo held in Nashville, Tennessee wrapped up last week. By all accounts, the event was a success—attendance was up to over 1,300 people, the exhibit hall was buzzing with energy and the venue was beautiful and convenient. As usual, the event proved to be a great place to gain further insight into all kinds of issues that are currently affecting CS professionals.

Included in the learning opportunities was a presentation that Rose Seavey MBA, BS, RN, CNOR, CRCST, CSPDT gave at the ReadySet Surgical booth on Monday. The topic was “The Joint Commission Current Updates” and an overflow crowd attended to learn and receive CE credits. With the limited seating restricting the number of people able to attend in person, we are sharing the presentation slides in full above.
